Server Name Vote

Right, here's the five options for the server name. You get two votes each.

Vote will be up until Sunday.

I don't think any of these fit to the server :/

You guys are the ones that suggested it. Also, we're taking a different approach with the overall outlook of the server if you haven't noticed.

Yup.

Too bad. Guys, we're aiming to look like a normal roleplay server, the sooner you all realise that, the better.

Normal roleplay servers are... well, there are shitloads of them, I don't think it'll help you guys to increase server playerbase.

Quality is what matters. A quality advert on the SAMP forums can generate like 10 players. SOME of them might even stay. And it's not only the script that makes a server. It's the community as well. And if all of you are gonna act like you're all acting now, all pessimistic and cynical we won't get far. Plus, you can't go "omg server is dying look 2 players ig" and sit around jacking off. Get IG ffs, be active, you gotta have atleast 1 friend that'll join IG if he sees you online. And that's how the chain starts. I did it several times during the closed beta. You can't expect the staff to fuck themselves around with resurrecting the server, the members are important too.

Y'all gotta realize that this won't work sideways.


K so lets say a person comes ingame, thinking s'all a normal roleplay and stuff, POOF shizzle vampire speed 5 into the wall. Annnnnnnd he leaves because he came for a default roleplay and not some superhuman stuff.

But I dunno... might work, can't predict future now can we.

Everyone's crying for the "old VHRP" based on vampires. Well fuck, when it still was old VHRP, did you play? No. There were like 3 players online each day. Can't even guess how fun it was.

That shit wasn't working out. We need a change. If you don't like it, no one's stopping you from leaving. The changes ARE gonna happen. As Dashie said, the sooner you realize that, the better.

Actually there were upwards of 30 players online once upon a time.


But enough of that. What's in the past is in the past.

I am, however, upset that creekside is winning over after dark.

Creekside really doesn't represent anything other than the fact there's a creek by Palomino and noone ever RP'd in DI or MG.

Once upon a time. Yes, when the server was still relatively new. It all got old and boring after some time. We need a change, and "After Dark Roleplay" doesn't change anything in my opinion. We'll be stuck in the same "supernatural RP" zone.

It hurts me to see After Dark Roleplay isnt winning, it's really giving a mysterious hint.

Giving the server the supernatural implied name, people come excited to join a race. In reality, from what I see, the races hardly ever gain new bodies. "You gotta do this." You gotta do that." People realize they aren't getting into one, so they whine about it here, or leave. Offering more for the human side, might get afew newcomers to stick around. But regardless, word about Vampires and Werewolves will get out to them. Its spread out all over the forums.
