EMS Weapons.

In-Game Name: Daniel Wilhelm, EMS Commander.

Level: 14

Type of suggestion:Weaponry for Ems.

Describe the suggestion: Some sort of Weapons locker for EMS. Like.. Just a Shotgun and Pistol(Deagle), BUT the shotgun cannot be taken out of the hospital. The deagle would be.. 3 clips.. 21 bullets.
And a Taser Refill area.

From a scale from 1-10 rate how important this suggestion is: Well.. Around... 6-7? maybe less?

I actually support his suggestion.

A lot of states in America allow Medical Personnel to carry firearms on duty. Well, the EMTs and Paramedics.

Why you might ask. Medical Personnel carry drugs in vehicles when they're on duty driving around. They could recieve calls from addicts that simple want to rob them to get a "fix."

Also, there are many situations where medical personnel put themselves in harm's way to assist wounded victims. Many situations, a taser won't help much.

No, we have the police for a reason. You call them when a trouble appears. It'd be a DM fest if everyone had weaponry and used them against suspects instead of calling the police.

Err...everyone already has weapons. More the reason EMTs/Paramedics needs more than simple tasers to protect themselves in the field.

I agree with DeRon, Never saw IRL a medic with a gun but in other servers when I was in the EMS, in the locker we had Shotgun and Deagle
Also, Medic's need to protect them selves from the "Illegal Weaponry all get", and with the rookies if possible they should drive around with a Higher Ranked so they don't use Weapons in the bad way.

Well that could work too XD, but Shotguns could be inside the Ambulance, so they wont run with them but with a pistol

Instead of making an army of paramedics, you can add a "Panic Button" to EMS.
When someone harms them or anything, they'll just hit the button beside steering wheel, it'll call cops.

I say that we need weaponry to defend ourselves. the SHotgun. Could ONLY be used by hospital security. INSIDE ONLY.

As for the colt. I hate the fact that its dual. IF there was a way to make it a single weapon, I'd take it. But the deagle is the best in either case. Like an M1911.

And rookies wouldnt be able to use the weapons, Only at (Medic) rank would it be allowed to be used.

With this, Explicit and Heavy Rules would be implemented.

We need to defend ourselves with something OTHER than a taser with 10 Rounds. Those dont last. At All.

TO YOU WHO SAY WE WOULD DM. It is you who wants to DM us. You want a quick end, You want to get rid of the EMS. I will not allow the EMS to die easily because of a few measly words from people with guns.

SD isnt on all the time. Half the time im on. THey arent.

A colt would do. Or scriptly a deagle, but ICly some other weapon, you know EMS don´t really receive training to deal with such weaponry such as desert eagles. Also if you read what DeRon says in his ballistic guide, not a suggested weapon. A simple colt might do the job.

Besides.. a Colt M1911 is a desert eagle in the GTA SA game. (In my eyes anyway)

A deagle is One shot, One Kill. .50 caliber

M1911. Really good weapon used by Law Enforcement.

Although the glock is also used as a Law Enforcement weapon, the 9mm glock, isnt anything close to the deagle damage in gta sa.

the m1911 is pretty close to it.

Medics are issued with panic buttons, not weaponry. You use the panic button when trouble stumbles upon you.

Sorry, but the United States government doesn't hand out weaponry to the EMT personell.

Well, the other day I went to go pick up a dead body, and there was a woman firing rounds into the air threatening to kill the other civilians around if they didn't get off her lawn... If an EMT can't carry a pistol with him, why do I see other people walking around with swords and shit like it's just casual wear?

You call the POLICE to help you with any dangerous encounters. The police exists for a reason.

Instead of making it to where all EMS have weapons, why not make a securty section for EMS? They could carry guns and no one else, they would escort the EMS around the towns or guard the hospital. I just don't want to see a bunch of EMS roaming around with high powered fire arms, just doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

We all know that People Making the... Attacks Would NOT, Rp the NPC cops.

And IF they would, They would rply shoot them Instantly.

And the shotguns would be In the Hospital Int Only, BUT

Just because there aren't any sherrifs online doesn't mean that our current state will change its law and scatter out weapons to EMT personell. I don't think so. If you are a medic, then you have to face such dangerous situations and be submissive if the opponent is more powerful than you. You don't see civilians chilling around with weapons because no sherrifs are online.
