| I don't use any sort of Antivirus programs. I used to use Avast on the PC tho. If I were to use one again, I'd go back to Avast.
There are barely any virus' out there that can effect a mac, and all I use the PC for is Skyrim, GTA, and the forums if the macbook is dead. I've no need to an antivirus now.
With Avast, While installing games that 'might' be labeled as containing a virus, you can simply pause avast until you're done installing. I've never had a problem with it.
Unfortunatly. I can't link you to what I had.. Because I didn't get mine legally. I'm sure there are trial versions of it though.

| McAfee, Malware Bytes, AVG....
I use McAfee and Malware bytes right now, No problems, with both of them on the comp.
Malware bytes is... like 25 bucks.
I got my mcafee for free due to the US Army stuff my dad gets. (Free stuff, Woooo!)

Best I've used so far. This is anti MALWARE not a general antivirus.. One without the other is ineffective. Download an anti virus as well. And you don't have to pay for Malwarebytes. It's quite free. Have this and Avast! And Avast doesn't label anything as a virus, unless it actually IS a virus.. If Avast doesn't float your boat the second best choice is kapersky. And you can just use the free version of Avast. You don't need the paid version. The paid version just has a "Stuff 4 idiots" badge on it. You only require the actual anti virus. And there's more viruses for a mac than you might think. Macs aren't impenetrable. It's simply a matter of "More people have PC's, so target PC's" Which is a totally silly thing because Mac owners are usually artsy-fartsy types or graphics artists and they generally know nothing about computers so they're the most vulnerable and therefore the most profitable targets. | Macs are not immune to viruses, there's just not much viruses for Mac out there. You may be infected without even knowing it.

| I don't think technology is developed enough to launch an "untivirus" | |

| Norton gives me no recommendations to delete files that come from websites. I have used other AV programs such as Avast and depending on your needs / computer specifications the bloatware that AV programs such as Norton come into factor if you have a shitbox. Lolworkedformesince2001 doesn't fit here, I read into this every year to see what each has to offer.
Mac's aren't safe, they are more susceptible to viruses than PC's as Sam has avidly pointed out that there's a greater population of PC's but Mac users are pretty hopeless at using computers.
